Nineteen year old cyclist, Matt, was tragically killed while cycling in Christchurch.

2 August 189 - 23 July 2009, tragically as a result of an accident in Christchurch. Cherished son of Stu and Sheryl (Karamea), much loved brother of Luke (Christchurch) and Duncan (Karamea), loved grandson of Doug and Muriel (Karamea) and Jill and the late Alf Wasley (Hawera), loved nephew of Johnny (Nelson), Chris and Tony (Karamea), Alan and Angela (Taupo), and Bill and Jennifer (Tauranga), and a dear cousin of Nicole, Amanda, Cassie, Bradley; and Matthew, Kate and Courtney. The funeral service will be held at the Karamea Area School Hall, Karamea, on Monday July 27, at 2.00pm, thereafter internment at Karamea cemetery.
