  • A Beautiful Song for a Beautiful lady - The Rose

Some say love it is a river
    that drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razor
that leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love it is a hunger
    an endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
    and you it's only seed

It's the heart afraid of breaking
    that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking
    that never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
    who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dying
    that never learns to live

When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed that with the sun's love
in the spring becomes The Rose

  • Muzz, Ashleigh and Matt

Our thoughts are with you and your extended families at this tragic time.
Nats, the "Pink Lady". Pink dish cloth, pink rubber cleaning gloves, and more recently pink Hair! We loved the way that Natalie was confident to be her own person.
She always greeted us with a huge smile and totally positive attitude to life.
I remember the time that you took me to Mosgiel and we were discussing your courting days. Nats told me how it was Muzz who was chasing her but Muzz argued that it was definately Nats who was chasing him. So Muzz, who was chasing who? You two made an awesome couple.
Your wedding day was memoriable for us - we arrived at the wrong church and decided that we didn't know anyone at the East Taieri Church so raced over to Outram!
I clearly remember visiting Natalie at Dunstan Hospital, when Ashleigh was born. Nats looked great as always! You were such proud parents. Now you can be very proud of two wonderful teenagers.
    Take care you guys.

  • Dearest Natalie

We cannot believe you have gone. The gorgeous, outgoing, friendly girl who was always so comfortable in her own skin. The girl with the beautiful genuine smile. You were always so happy and bubbly and knew how to make others feel at ease, with your easy-going personality, caring nature and friendliness towards others. You are an inspiration and the world is a lesser place for you not being here. We are so lucky to have known you.

We know how much you loved Murray, Ashleigh and Matt and the hole that has been left in your family is huge.

Nat you were one of lifes treasures. You were a great Mum and You and Murray have raised 2 fantastic kids. It is sad you will not see what they make of themselves but all the seeds have been sown for them to be wonderful, capable adults. You should feel proud!!!

Murray, Ash and Matt we know the pain you are going through and cant even begin to think how you will go on without your beloved Nat.

    Lots and lots of love
