Died 25 Apr 2011

Profile Image

Mystery surrounding K'Rd identity Margaret's life continues after her death. Margaret spent her days on Karangahape Road for atleast 22 years, often spending all day on benches smoking and asking others cigarettes and change. But despite being a well known persona, very little is known about her life story and even her few close friends did not know how she had ended up on the road. It is hoped that someone may be able to assist in finding Margaret's family.
Her funeral will be held at the Baptist Tabernacle Church, Queen St, on Tuesday 3rd May at 10.30am.
