Bill (74) died following five days wandering around Auckland's northern suburbs. He had gone missing from the Albany rest home he lived at and his family were increasingly concerned his health and wellbeing due to a medical condition he suffered from. A well publicised search was undertaken and was found alive at the North Shore Golf Club five days later by a member of the public. Sadly he died six days later in hospital.
