Tragically Johnson (13) died in his sleep from a suspected epileptic seizure.His 10-year-old brother went to wake him up for his paper round, and found he was not breathing. A rugby fanatic, Johnson had just days before watched the All Blacks train for a Tri-Nations test match against South Africa and got every player's signature. He played rugby for the Rimutaka club.
