Pat will be forever remembered for his love of fitness and kickboxing and, along with his wife, he ran the Lab Training Centre gym in Napier. He was also a world champion in kickboxing having won the title in 2018 for the 95kg K1 Belt. He also raised thousands of dollars for a number of causes by running the annnual Battle for Life event.Tragicallly he died in a head on crash on the Hawkes' Bay Expressway. The driver of the other car Tony Anderson (75), a retired farmer, also died. RIP Pat
