Twelve year old Marky had no warning he had a fatal strain of the flu. He had told his grandmother he had a sore back and that was when he was taken to the doctor and given painkillers and told to keep off his hip. The next day he was rushed to hospital where he went into cardiac arrest and died. His death was the result of a strand of the flu and undiagnosed pneumonia. He was a well liked pupil at Henderson Intermediate School and involved himself in many of the activities in his community. He loved video games and V8 cars.
