Passed away, peacefully, on Thursday, November 24, surrounded by her family; aged 83 years, after a short illness, she was cared for in her home, by her loved ones.
Loving wife of Russell, dearly loved mother and mother-inlaw of Sandra and Ran Turner (Waitati), Barbara and Peter Stuart (Christchurch), Garry Mclntosh (Christchurch), Dianne Joy and John Reimink (Australia). She was the beloved grandmother of 10 grandchildren and cherished great-grandmother to 10 beautiful great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her. The funeral service was held at East Taieri Church, 10.30 a.m., on Monday, November 28,

Huge loss

To my dearest friend Garry and his father, sisters and the beautiful grandchildren - my heart goes out to you. Val was one of a kind and left nothing but lovely warm memories each time I met her. I can only imagine your pain. Hugs cxx
