Profile Image

Lee (48) caught swine flu while visiting Auckland. One month later she succumbed to the illness much to the shock of her two adult daughters. Lee was a fit woman who ate healthily and exercised daily but quickly fell ill when staying with a daughter in Auckland. After driving home to Papamoa she went to hospital and spent five weeks in an induced coma. Lee's death was the second tragedy for the family as the previous year Lee's husband Greg died of cancer.
