Brendon Kevin Pyle

01 Dec 1982 - 23 May 2011

Profile Image

Brendon (28) was performing a light-hearted stunt in Antibes, on the French Riveria, which resulted in two weeks in an induced coma and his life support finaly being switched off. He had been working on superyachts for four years, mostly as a chef, and the accident was a result of riding a wheely bin down some stairs and he crashed fracturing his skull and bruising his chest, days later he was declared clinically brain dead. He was a talented surfer, enjoyed adventures and was known to be extremely kind and fun-loving.

The "Brendon Pyle Fighting Fund" has been set up to help cover his hospital fees, his parents' travel to be with him, and the costs to bring his body home to New Zealand.
