Broadcaster Phillip (61) will be forever remembered for a long television career which included covering the Olympics and Commonwealth Games and the Wheel of Fortune game show he hosted in the 1990's. In 2011 he was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to broadcasting and the community. He is survived by his wife and three children.
