Six year old Lachlan tragically died following a vechicle carash in Fernside, Waimakariri north of Christchurch. The car he was a passenger in failed to take a corner, hit a stopbank and landed among trees about 25 metres away. Lachlan was a pupil at the Fernside School where he was a popular boy and the accident happened only minutes from his mothers home. RIP Lachlan.
