Murray (56) tragically deid when the excavator he was operating was buried under 1000 metric tonnes of rock and debris. The rubble came down on his 65-tonne excavator at the Heathstock Haulage limeworks in Waikari burying both him and his excavator for two days. He is survived by his wife.
