Neda, the Angel of Iran, was shot in the chest during a battle between Iranian security forces and opposition protesters. She has become a martyr for freedom. The philsophy students death was videod on mobile phone and the 40 second clip posted on You Tube, yet Iran's state-controlled media had not mentioned her death. Like other victims of violence, she was buried quickly, privately and under heavy security.
