Jerome (52) tragically died in a helicopter accident when it crashed on the slopes of Mt Alta, near Wanaka. He was on a heli-skiing trip with a group of friends and all were members of Auckland's St Paul's Church parish, Five of his friends and the pilot were injured. He is survived by his wife and two children.
